WHERE COURAGE COUNTS

This web-site is dedicated
to the never-ending memory
of a very special man
who touched many people in his short 27-year life.

Jason Scott Alston

is and always shall be
a continued source of
 inspiration,
love,
and an enormous amount of courage.

Jason, the ultimate warrior. He fought the good fight, and was victorious , thus the name War Eagle.

This story is about the last four months of Jason’s life, and how he handled himself, and how brave he was. Jason was a real person who was full of love. He also loved  life and he did the things that most all of us do. He fell short of the glory like all men do. But what separated Jason from most others, was his loving heart. He was full of love, and love does covers a multitude of sins.

We, as Jason's family and friends, want to share his most moving story. We pray that his death will be used as a stepping stone to the love of God. It is our purpose to try to inspire, encourage and touch any or all who have lost a loved one or is going to lose one. We pray that this site will be a source of strength, courage and hope to all who need it.

We also want to bring to light the ever present power of the Holy Spirit who did come and comfort us as Jason was dying. There was praise music playing and scripture readings, and a general wooing  to our God. He did come and He did comfort us with a power that can only come from above.

For those who are passing through this site and would like to experience what we experienced and have a limited amount of time, go to Chapter 13 and read "The Power of His Love". Please remember it is always better to be with the ones that we love, as they are making the journey to the the other side, and to ask God to be with us in our deepest darkness hour. For in doing so we can always have the,

“Victory in Death, by The Power of His Love”.
